Terms of Use

This page sets out, in clear terms, the conditions of use of the uzay.tech website, the nature of its content, and the rights and obligations of the parties.

These terms of use ("Terms") apply to visitors and users of the uzay.tech website ("Site") owned by Uzay Tech A.Ş. and Uzay Tech GmbH (together, "Uzay Tech"). By accessing the Site or using its content, you indicate that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms. If you do not wish to comply with them, please do not use the Site.

Nature of the Content

Content on the Site — text, imagery, video, infographics, case studies, technical articles, and organisational communications — is provided for informational purposes. Unless expressly indicated otherwise, no content may be interpreted as a binding offer, technical warranty, legal advice, or investment recommendation. For binding information on a specific programme, product or service, please reach out to the relevant technical team directly.

Intellectual Property and Licence

All text, imagery, graphics, audio, video, design elements, software, and source code on the Site — unless expressly indicated otherwise — are owned by Uzay Tech or its authorised licensors. They are protected under Turkish Intellectual Property Law (FSEK) and the German Copyright Act (UrhG).

These Terms grant you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view content in your browser for personal, non-commercial use and to read page source within reasonable bounds. Without Uzay Tech's express written permission, the following actions are prohibited:

  • Reproducing, distributing, publishing, or selling content for commercial purposes
  • Creating derivative works (e.g. training of automated summarising AI systems)
  • Framing, scraping, automated downloading, or reverse-engineering attempts
  • Presenting Site content in a misleading manner or without attribution
  • Unauthorised use of Uzay Tech or partner trademarks

User Conduct

You agree not to use the Site for purposes that are unlawful, infringe third-party rights, endanger system security, or degrade service quality. In particular:

  • Submitting misleading or false information through forms
  • Automated form spam or abuse
  • Brute-force, DDoS, or similar attack attempts against Site infrastructure
  • Unauthorised collection or transmission of third-party personal data
  • Submitting unlawful, defamatory, racist, discriminatory, or hateful content

Limited Liability

Uzay Tech takes reasonable care to keep Site content current, accurate, and complete; however, content is provided "as is" with no express or implied warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Uzay Tech and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Site.

This limitation does not affect liability arising from intentional acts or gross negligence, harm to life or health, product-liability statutes, or other obligations that cannot be waived by law.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. EU project pages, partner websites). Such links are provided for informational convenience only; content, privacy practices, and service quality of those sites are outside Uzay Tech's control and responsibility.

Service Availability

Uninterrupted, error-free operation of the Site is not guaranteed. The Site may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, security reasons, or technical incidents. Uzay Tech cannot be held responsible for damages arising from such interruptions.

Changes to the Terms

Uzay Tech reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced prominently on the Site. Continued use of the Site after the publication of the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising under them are governed by Turkish law and subject to the jurisdiction of the Bursa Courts for visitors in Türkiye, and by German law and the jurisdiction of the Düsseldorf Courts for visitors in Germany/EU. Mandatory provisions of consumer protection law remain reserved.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
