Role Overview
Lead research initiatives and act as principal investigator on Horizon Europe and ITEA projects. Shape UzayTech's technical roadmap for ADAS, electrification, and connected vehicle innovation, and represent the company at international research forums.
Responsibilities
- Lead and write proposals for Horizon Europe, ITEA, and national funding programmes
- Act as Work-Package leader or technical coordinator in EU consortia
- Define research roadmaps for ADAS, electrification, battery, and V2X domains
- Mentor junior researchers and oversee scientific quality of deliverables
- Build and maintain academic and industrial research partnerships across Europe
Qualifications
- PhD or 8+ years of applied research experience in automotive engineering
- Proven track record of successful EU project participation as PI or WP leader
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and conferences
- Deep expertise in at least one of: autonomous driving, electrification, batteries, embedded AI
- Excellent English; German or Turkish is a strong plus
